Zach McGillis Business Broker

Zach McGillis brings more than two decades of senior-level experience in business consulting, finance and sales. He began with several Fortune 500 companies, building expertise in corporate strategy and financial management before moving toward entrepreneurship.
His background covers ecommerce, healthcare, information management, financial services and staff augmentation, which gives him a wide view that serves buyers and sellers equally. He holds that small business is the engine of the American economy, and works on both halves of that: getting buyers into ownership and getting sellers through a planned exit.
He holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Management of Information Systems and Finance, and an MBA concentrated in Finance, all from the University of Minnesota. He is also a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), the credential awarded by the International Business Brokers Association to professionals meeting its standards for education, expertise and commitment to the industry.
Zach lives in Minneapolis with his two children and two dogs. Outside work he reads, golfs and trains jiu-jitsu, and holds several leadership roles in his local Cub Scout pack. Since 2020 he has been adjunct faculty at Metro State University.
