Remy Belanger is an ecommerce M&A advisor with more than twenty years in finance and ecommerce. He has structured deals globally as both buyer and seller, raised more than $4 million in capital for his own businesses, and generated upwards of $22 million in sales.
His approach is to read market trends against a business’s own processes, strengths and weaknesses, produce a full analysis, and then implement the strategy that brings the right buyers to the table.
He started as a Commercial Lender for the Development Bank of Canada, where he was recognised as a top performer. From there he owned and managed businesses in manufacturing, automation and ecommerce, including an Amazon private label business that sold in the seven figures across several countries.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Sherbrooke. His background covers financial analysis and reporting, cash flow and accounting, operations management, enterprise transformation and leading teams of over 115. Accurate projections, ERP implementations and performance optimisation have been the levers, producing millions in returns.
Having bought, sold and run businesses internationally, he structures deals that work on both sides, with a client-centric approach built around what the seller is actually trying to achieve.
Away from work Remy is in the Eastern Townships with his family. An outdoorsman, he boats, fishes and skis both alpine and water, and feeds his friends well.
