Leo Decker Business Broker

Leo Decker is a lifelong entrepreneur with decades of hands-on experience, having owned and operated a number of businesses alongside a large portfolio of commercial and residential real estate. He now applies that to identifying and analysing investment opportunities.
After graduating he founded Decker Scrap Metals with his father, a metals recycling business built on arbitrage in the bulk metals market. He spent several years growing it before selling his shares and moving on.
The pattern recognition he developed in recycling took him into investment advice at E.F. Hutton, and he was later recruited to Janney Montgomery Scott, where he was known for business development and for the relationships he kept with clients. Alongside that work he began brokering businesses as well as investments.
During those years he also acquired businesses for himself and his investment partners when the opportunity was right, taking an opportunistic and sector-agnostic approach. He has owned and operated businesses in transportation, advertising, travel and restaurants.
One of his investors, the founder of a large real estate development firm, recruited him to raise capital for the company. It has since developed over eight million square feet of commercial real estate.
He was also a member of Sales Optimizer, LLC, where he built and ran training programmes sold to third-party companies.
Leo is active in his community, volunteering with Catholic charity organisations including the Knights of Columbus, and is heavily involved with the Help a Diabetic Child Foundation on fundraising and awareness.
