Dipen Mengar Business Broker

Dipen Mengar is a technology-focused business broker with more than eight years in tech and internet mergers and acquisitions, and has been part of the team at Website Closers since 2015.
His background is IT engineering, and his entrepreneurial route started in 2008 in IT-enabled services. Acquisitions of his own in 2013 and 2014 showed him the scale of the tech and internet M&A market, and he moved into it.
He has worked on transactions from $300,000 up to $30 million, connecting private equity groups, strategic acquirers and high-net-worth individuals with the right opportunities. He describes it as matchmaking for businesses. Brokering also runs in the family: his father was a commodities broker for over forty years.
Understanding the sector combined with analytical work is what lets him get creative on valuations, negotiate terms that hold, and pull the most out of a deal. Several of his clients have exited more than once with him.
Numbers are not the whole of it for him. He works on relationships built on trust, transparency and integrity, and treats each client and business as specific rather than typical.
Away from deals, Dipen spends his time with family and friends, and keeps an eight-year-old daughter entertained.
